The Brake Manor Care Home provides a warm and welcoming environment for service users and families. Situated on the outskirts of St. Austell, in 13 acres of woodland, users can easily maintain links with the local community and families. We pride ourselves in having highly trained and caring staff (NVQ 2 and 3), enabling us to offer quality accommodation and care for your loved one.

We specialise in Dementia care and are able to meet the needs of all of our service users by operating a ‘bespoke individually created’ care plan. The home offers 24 bedrooms (19 en-suite) and 2 double rooms (1 en-suite).

We aim to offer first class care and value for money, and with a infrastructure designed to give our users continued dignity by encouraging them to carry on doing all the things they enjoy, plus the reassurance of knowing there is always someone there to talk to and support you.

Clinton House Care Centre

Clinton House Care Centre is beneftting from a huge refurbishment programme. We have improved the surroundings and extended the amenities and resources for our service users. There are 37 single rooms (en-suite to some) and one double room (en-suite). All rooms are accessible by either stair chairs or a passenger lift.

Our qualified nurses and carers (NVQ 2, 3
and 4) possess all the knowledge and thoughtfulness you’d come to expect, with additional training in dementia, and ‘personal care’ planning is guaranteed for each separate service users requirements.

Our aim at Clinton House Care Centre is to provide a high quality service of nursing and caring based on individual needs. At the same time promote independence and maintain dignity.

Alexandra House

Alexandra House lies within a quiet bay with magnificent views of Porth Beach. A specialist nursing home providing a high standard of care and conforming to all aspects of statutory regulations and working practice.

Our trained staff, RM1’s and RMN’s (NVQ 2 and 3) are dedicated so that a ‘Holistic’ approach can be given to meet the needs of all individuals who reside at the home.36 beds, the home consists of 26 single rooms (3 en-suite) and 5 double rooms. Alexandra House also works alongside other health professional bodies to assess and monitor care given to each individual.

Pleasant, comfortable and a homely environment, Alexandra House excels in providing the care for service users and en-stills confidence and trust for their families and frequent visitors.

Statement of Purpose

Collamere Nursing

Collamere offers a mix of a traditional and purpose built accommodation, most of which is at ground floor level, providing nursing and residential care, of a high quality.

Located in a small mid-Cornwall town, the home is within easy reach of the town and train station.

45 bedded accommodation, all rooms are en-suite and some include wet rooms.

A registered nurse is available 24 hours a day, we have links with the Palliative care teams, and work closely with them in planning care for those who require this service. We specialise in Respiratory conditions, Stroke care, Huntington’s and care of those with Enteral fedding needs. Along side the care of those who need support with the tasks of day to day living.
